Mimosa Lodge is situated in one of the most perfect area in South Africa. Montagu is an oasis in the rough landscape of the Little Karoo, is on the scenic Route 62, connecting Cape Town and the Wine Lands with the Garden Route.

This area is extremely spectacular in spring season, when it is covered with flowers and blossoms everywhere. Montagu has an exceptionally wide range of fauna and flora and is a paradise for nature lovers.

The whole entourage of the guest house is oriented to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for our visitors. Every guest is personally welcomed and taken to his en-suite room or suite, which are individually furnished with period pieces and provide every modern comfort and facilities.

Accommodation:
Each 9 bedrooms and 6 suites are individually decorated and combines old world charm with today’s modern luxuries.
All rooms are en-suite with a shower or a bath with a hand shower. All Garden Suites are situated in the garden with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Each room has its own patio and Hi-Fi, separate bath and shower.
The Orchard Suite is a one and a half studio room which is just pure luxury. It has its own private champagne pool, balcony, tea & coffee making facilities and a Hi-Fi.
The bathroom is en-suite with a corner bath and double shower head shower.

The Dining Room is a lovely area with tables from indigenous woods, graced by an Art Deco Chandelier and a dramatic set of curtains.
The breakfast buffet offers home-baked and home-made treats while the cooked breakfast is freshly prepared on request.
An old water reservoir with heavy walls from natural stone has been converted into our Wine Cellar. Superb wines have been put down for the perfect match with an excellent dinner.

Visitors are able to take advantage of the facilities for Golf (9 hole, 18 holes in Worcester), Tennis, Squash, Fitness centre and Bowls. There are also Mountain Bike and 4x4 routes and for the enthusiast, Rock Climbing faces that are renowned in the Cape.
