Thonga Beach Lodge is a magnificent hotel, set in complete harmony with the environment. It is located on the one of the most unspoilt beaches of the Maputuland coast, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Accommodation
Thonga Beach Lodge has 22-bed lodge and also has 2 family suites and 2 beautiful honeymoon suites. The en-suite rooms have been constructed in the coastal dune forest to ensure minimum impact on the environment and guest privacy as well as offering scenic views of the natural surroundings and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. All the rooms are well appointed and beautifully designed in Thonga architectural style. All suites are air-conditioned.

Activities:
Snorkeling: Mabibi South Africa offers great opportunities for snorkeling. The warm waters of the Indian Ocean have a large variety of marine flora and fauna.
Bird Watching:
Mabibi is habitat for numerous bird species.
Guided Wilderness Walks: Guests can head out on foot and explore this natural wonderland through coastal dune forests, unspoiled sandy beaches and grasslands.
Turtle Tracking: Guests can watch the Giant Leatherback and Loggerhead turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs in carefully prepared nests. Turtle tracking is offered in the evening from mid-November to mid-March.
Fishing: The Maputuland coastline is very famous as one of South Africa’s most popular fishing destinations.
