Ulusaba is located in the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, one of Africa's finest 'Big Five' safari destinations, adjacent to and practically part of the Kruger National Park.
Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is part of the Sabi Sands Reserve which is a 66,000-hectare reserve bordering the Kruger National Park. The hills of Ulusaba are scenic as they rise above the surrounding bushveld offering a view incomparable anywhere in the reserve.
This picturesque area is dominated by a tranquil atmosphere and calmness.
Ulusaba is privately owned and offer its visitors 10 000 acres of pristine game-rich bush in near seclusion.
This fabulous venue has two accommodation types: Rock lodge and Safari lodge.
Both of the luxury safari lodges cater for small groups, ensuring the travellers privacy and exclusivity.
In spite of the pristine wilderness which surrounds Ulusaba, our guests have at their disposal all modern facilities for a comfortable stay.

Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is a Big Five viewing area. A variety of animal species can be found in this wilderness haven, including Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, White Rhino, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Hippo, Kudu, Wildebeest and a variety of over 300 bird species.

Accommodation:
ULUSABA ROCK LODGE
Rock Lodge seizes the cliff face of Ulusaba Mountain, 800 feet above sea level, and overlooks the expanded wilderness below. Rock lodge is comprised 11 air-conditioned rooms and can accommodate 22 people in total.
All bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully decorated, and each has a private, furnished sun deck from which to enjoy the breathtaking views. The interior design harmonizes with the surroundings and reflects the beauty of the area.
The swimming pool with a natural waterfall is surrounded by exotic tropical gardens.

SAFARI LODGE:
Safari Lodge is a rustic style lodge, set along the banks of the Mabrak riverbed.
There are three Safari Rooms, three Elephant Rooms and four River Rooms, all of which have their own private sundecks.
The rooms at Safari Lodge are built 'tree house style', with wooden bungalows on stilts, offering that extra degree of privacy and exclusiveness, the Elephant and River Rooms being accessed by specially designed wooden swing bridges. These bridges pass through treetops allowing safe access to guests' rooms while Giraffe and Elephant pass below.
Each of the rooms has king-size beds and most rooms can be converted to twin beds upon request. Safari Lodge has been decorated in a more contemporary style, but yet harmonizing with the surroundings. The handcrafted bush beds and furniture were produced by local craftsmen. The antique Mali Mud cloth cushions and throws are traditional fabrics from Western Africa.
All rooms include telephones. A complimentary laundry and pressing service is included on a daily basis. Hair dryers and international adapters are available in all rooms. Business facilities are available upon request. Also available are DVD, video, music, a library, board games, children's books and games. Guests at Safari Lodge are free to use the tennis courts, spa and gymnasium located at the nearby Ulusaba Rock Lodge.

Dining facilities:
The Ulusaba’s visitors can enjoy delicious cuisine influenced by many African cultures, flavors and spices.
Dinner is served in the traditional safari manner and can be enjoyed in the cosy dining room or outdoors in the Boma fire.
The qualified chiefs cater for all tastes and dietary requirements.

Beauty treatments:
Ulusaba also has a boutique spa at both Rock Lodge and Safari Lodge. The Aroma Boma at Rock Lodge is located 800 feet above the African Savannah with truly stunning views over the bush and complete privacy.
The Aroma Boma Virgin Touch Salon offers an extensive range of treatments.
Guinot Treatments offered include a liftosome facial uses a high concentration of vitamin C and proteins to strengthen elasticity and firmness whilst stimulating cellular regeneration. Hare are also available aromatherapy massages, manicures, pedicures and waxing.

Gymnasium
There is a gymnasium situated at both Rock Lodge and Safari Lodge, which is available for guests to use 24 hours a day.

Game Drive
Twice daily game drives in open 4x4 game viewing safari vehicles and nature walks.
The excellent game viewing experience is complimented by other activities such as stargazing, bird watching and moonlit bush dinners or sundowners.

Daily bush walk
This captivating activity as it allows you to observe the smaller animals that you would usually not see while out on drive.

Community Tour
The community tour takes place outside the reserve in the local village. This tour offers a fascinating insight into modern Shangaan lifestyle.

Arts and Craft Shop
The Arts and Craft shop is located at Safari Lodge. A selection of arts crafts and small gifts are available here.

Kid's club
